"It's like the The Night asking The Day when it dawns, "Where did your light come from? whereby The Day snuffs its light out, answering "If you can tell me where the light, has gone to, I'll surely tell you where it comes from."
It caught my attention because I remember teasing my now-adult-nephew quite similarly to what Tam Dalyell had written above. I lighted up a match stick and held up the flame to my nephew's face. I then, puffed it out.
"Tell me, where has the flame gone ? I'll give you 50sen if you can answer it..".
The 50 sen "prize-money" went up to RM1, then to RM5 and finally to RM50. At the end, my nephew gave up. The thing is, I also did not know what to tell ..... ha! ha! ha!
With that, I would like to dedicate here, one of the poem from Jalaluddin Rumi..
"LIKE THIS !"
(Jalaluddin Rumi)
If anyone asks you how the perfect satisfaction of all our sexual wanting will look, lift your face and say,

If anyone wonders how Jesus raised the dead, don't try to explain the miracle. Kiss me on the lips,
frown and measure with your fingers
the space between the creases on your forehead.

The soul sometimes leaves the body, then returns. When someone doesn't believe that, walk back into my house.
I am a sky where spirits live.

When someone asks what there is to do,
light the candle in his hand.
How did Joseph's scent come to Jacob?
Huuuu.......
How did Jacob's sight return?
A little wind cleans the eyes.
When Shams comes back from Tabriz,
he'll put just his head around the edge of the door to surprise us.
