Every day, priests minutely
examine the Law And endlessly chant complicated sutras. Before doing that,
though, they should learn How to read the love letters sent by the
wind and rain, the snow and moon.

If this me is not I, then who am I? If I am not the one who speaks, then who does? If this me is only a robe then who is the one I am covering?

the one you know me as me
it isn't me who do you think it is ? I utter no words with my tongue who do you think it is ? I'm only a shirt from my head to my toes the one whose shirt is me who do you think it is ? Translation by Nader Khalili "Dancing the Flame" Cal-Earth, 2001
Pada Mu jua tertuju segala jalan
Pada Mu jua cinta ku serahkan
Kerna hati seorang pencinta
Pandangannya satu
Matanya hanya melihat dia
Yang melihatnya hanya dia kekasihnya
- SANG PENCINTA
The Prophet said,
"God doesn't pay attention to your outer form: so in your improvising, seek the owner of the Heart."
God says,
"I regard you through the owner of the Heart, not because of prostrations in prayer or the giving of wealth in charity."*
The owner of the Heart becomes a six-faced mirror: through him God looks out in all the six directions.
TIDAK ADA KELEBIHANNYA ABU BAKAR DENGAN BANYAKNYA SEMBAHYANG DAN DENGAN BANYAKNYA PUASA. TETAPI KELEBIHANNYA IALAH KERANA DIA TELAH MELIHAT RAHSIA PADA DADANYA (YANG ADA PADANYA) DENGAN TETAP.
